Let Food Be "Thy Medicine"

Food is the most essential thing in our lives besides water. Moreover, healthy eating means eating a variety of food that gives you the nutrients you need to maintain your health, feel fresh, and have energy. These nutrients include protein, carbohydrate, fat, water, vitamin, and minerals. Nutritious food plays a vital role in the progression of health and the prevention of diseases.


A human body has to perform many duties to stay alive. To complete the tasks, we need energy. Energy comes from food thus completing the chain of sleep-eat-work-repeat. The type of energy that the body possesses depends upon the food that the body takes. If the body takes foods that are not nutritious, then it will not give the desired results, leading to insufficient performance of the duties, and if the body won't perform duties properly then it will lead to ruins and ultimately die. So, food is a major part of our lives. Unhealthy foods will make your body lazy, depressed, and cause diseases; whereas healthy foods will make your body, fit, healthy, and disease-free.


Healthy foods include home-made foods. These include the nutritious ones i.e. vegetables, fruits, proteins, carbs, fats, vitamins, etc. Every food has its value. They are all important, lack of particular nutrients may cause illnesses. Wholesome foods make the body mobile and strong. It also helps function your systems.
